As part of IntoUniversity's 10th Anniversary, each of our centres will host their own celebratory event. In February, IU Bow hosted an Open Forum where our local supporters were able to discuss the issues our charity and students face, whilst enjoying a very large birthday cake.
Last week, IU Hammersmith invited students and their families to a Bring and Share lunch. The team took over St Andrew's Church which was filled with colourful bunting and provided plenty of space for fun and games.
Our Academic Support students had already decorated t-shirts in preparation for the day.
It was then time for speeches from Hammersmith's Centre Leader, Hannah, and one of our students, Thomas, as well as three cheers for the whole Hammersmith team!
Everyone enjoyed trying the different foods each family had brought, and the day was rounded off with more games and a cupcake decorating session.
