IntoUniversity partners with new fundraising platform Pledgit

IntoUniversity is proud to be one of the first charities to work with innovative new fundraising platform Pledgit, which encourages fundraisers to put forward their own money and match all donations they receive.

The platform, which launches today, was set up by father and son team Phil and Billy Jenks as a way for people to demonstrate their personal commitment to a charitable cause before asking family and friends to support their fundraising.

Pledgit will also help donors to increase their personal impact on the charitable causes they are supporting, ‘doubling their generosity’ at no extra cost.

Businessman Nick Wheeler, founder of clothing company Charles Tyrwhitt, is taking the lead as one of the platform’s first ‘pledgers’.

Nick has promised to match every donation made to IntoUniversity via Pledgit up to an amazing £10,000.
